Nature lovers are sure to love The Farm at Riverpointe Homes in Davidson, NC, as they are a short drive to several parks. Our wide and ample sidewalks make our community friendly to walkers, runners, and strollers. Their quiet streets and many cul-de-sacs allow a bicycle-friendly environment as well.
The community features a fitness center, a playground, a swimming pool, tennis courts, and a recreation area.
This ethnically diverse community is home to Indians, Blacks, Caucasians, a few Spaniards, and Asians. Although houses are still getting built, there is a lot of green space, and the air equality is better since the textile mill plant closed down years ago. The nearest doctor’s office, the dentist’s office, is ten minutes away from the community, and I observe many neighbors walking or jogging on my morning walk. Cabarrus Health Alliance is approximately 15 minutes away from the community that provides various resources. Medical services include family planning, pediatrics, STDs, maternal health, local disease control and prevention, tuberculosis, immunizations, and international travel. It also includes medical records. Many hospitals are within a 15-25 minute drive. Construction is going on, and this community is still thriving because builders are building. We have a neighborhood watch and pool committee for protective service—access to YMCA, Aquatic centers, baseball, and football fields about 5 minutes away by car. Neighbors gather at the amenity center in the development for functions for kids, teens, and adults. Calendars are mailed quarterly with the activities that are planned for the community. Not many activities have taken place due to the pandemic. I have lived in this community for 15 years and love it. I watch my son, who was five years old when we moved into this neighborhood. It was nestled away like a little kept secret. Surrounded by Trees, only the first and second phases of houses were built, the amenities were under construction. I could look out the window when I first moved here, and it almost looked like mountains; the scenery was beautiful.
