The word length for the assignment is 1000 words and you are expected to write as near to the word limit as possible. A leeway of 10% is allowed so, for an essay of 1000 words, the acceptable limit is no more than 1100 words and no less than 900 words.

The aim of this assessment is for you to analyse the role research ethics have on the research process and the decisions researchers make in undertaking research. You also need to consider the professional implications you have regarding undertaking ethical research.
You will need to cover the following subject areas.

Steven is a health professional and he wants to undertake a change in practice for service users.
The change will involve changing the current treatment delivery for existing patients to one he has developed following undertaking a literature review that suggests patient outcomes will improve by 10-15 %.
He also wants to ask patients opinions about his change and if they like it and want to continue on the changed treatment.
Use the 4 principles of research to guide the assignment: Beneficence, Non-maleficence, respect autonomy, Justice (might be wise to use them headings in the paper)
