According to (The Global Asthma Report, 2018) Asthma does have a substantial impact on the quality of any young life, it is one of the most common diseases. Globally, asthma is ranked 16 indigent environments. About 300 million people have asthma. Even though we can fully combat asthma there are still gains to be made by improving education.

I will utilize the teach back theory because it is used to narrow the communicative gap between the teacher and client. I will use a pamphlet to teach. I will evaluate the clientâ€™s learning and ask them to demonstrate proper methods.
Goal: Healthy People 2020 (HP2020) objective(s) utilized as the goal for the teaching. Include the appropriate objective number and rationale for using the selected HP2020 objective (use at least one objective from one of the 24 focus areas). RD- 1.1 Reduce asthma deaths among children and adults under age 35 years
According to Healthy people 2020 although death is rare for asthma patients it is not for patients with Covid. Preliminary treatment is recommended along with supportive efforts. The main priority is education to decrease the risk for these patients.

Based on Alma Ataâ€™s global initiatives the goal is to reduce the disease by educating about health problems and ways to prevent or control them and to improve the quality of life for everyone that may have asthma or is at risk for it.

The teaching method was presented successfully with visual and listening effects. During the presentation, the teacher participated with the clients.

I’ve been attending my church for 5 years and I will be able to follow up with the young adults in three months regarding their individual prevention to decrease the risk of asthma attack or exacerbation.

By providing the young adults with an evaluation questionnaire on the class and on the instructor at the end of presentation, including true or false and if false what can be due to change? Was the presentation easy to understand? Did the presentation meet your expectations?
After that I will collect the questionnaire after the presentation.
Barriers: What are potential barriers that may arise during teaching and how will those be handled?
Lack of confidence and feelings of inadequacy, reluctant to behavioral changes, cognitive limitations are only some potential barriers. Understanding our weakness and where we lack is the first step. The second step is taking each challenge slowly.
4.2 Communicate therapeutically with patients.
How will you begin your presentation and capture the interest of your audience? Describe the type of activity you will use with your audience to exhibit active listening? Describe how you applied active listening in tailoring your presentation to your audience? How will you conclude your presentation? What nonverbal communication techniques will you employ?
First of all, I would introduce the topic to young adults. I donâ€™t know about you, but food always loosens me up. Snacks will be available. I will ask the young adults what they know about asthma and if they have ever been exposed to covid-19. After they answer this question, I ask them to place a paper bag over their head and ask them if they can breathe. Also, I would show them videos of the intensive care unit. patients who have asthma and covid-19 because of lack of education. At the end of the presentation, I would have one young adult who has been diagnosed with asthma to give their experience. By having the young adults listen to another person, I believe by having the young adult speak about her health, I would imagine the other young adults would be focusing on that one personâ€™s feelings.
