The student will also explore alternatives to the current plan, using a bio-psycho-social approach with the principles of the recovery model. Introduction (250 words) where you set the direction of the essay, give an outline of the type of placement (i.e. acute in-patient, etc.), provide brief details of the service users profile (i.e. gender. age, diagnosis, etc.) and your reason for choosing this service user. Reflect upon your own involvement with the service user and contribution in care delivery. Discuss also whether different care and therapeutic approaches could have been taken to achieve better outcomes. Conclusion (250 words) is your opportunity to reflect on what this care study has taught you and how it may impact your future practice especially in caring for people with long term mental health condition and promoting their recovery and well-being.
