This week, you will continue the exploration of the policy issues and political environment around your project (or work) by drawing a visual map of your issue.
• The content of your project/work to which the policy topic is related.
• The work you do as a leader as a charge nurse in the intensive care unit.
• The goals of the organization you work for.
• The field/institutions structures within which the organization is embedded.
• Critical issues in the larger policy environment.
• Key players in that environment.
The picture can be done by computer, hand drawn and scanned in, or photographed and sent as a picture. It will be assessed on content (not artistic quality!) The critical thing is to visually show and connect the dots between policy and your project in a way that makes sense to you and in a way that can be understood by others. If hand drawn, please label legibly so others can read it!
