Lesson Introduction
Welcome to the final lesson of Professional Aspects of Advanced Nursing Practice. During this week, we will review the steps required to establish APN state credentials and NPI number. You will read selected content from your textbook, watch a video selected by your instructor, participate in a discussion, complete an activity, and schedule a board review exam.
During this lesson, we will identify and examine the state requirements specific to APN credentialing and obtaining a national provider identification (NPI) number.
