A 21-year-old female patient presents to the office for an annual exam. She has had normal, regular menstrual cycles since she was 14 but she has not had a menstrual cycle in over 6 months. 1 (you can mention about The Sanford Guide to Antimicrobial Therapy 2020 (50th edition) pocket guide is a resource that I have being using in clinical practice to help select appropriate antibiotic therapy. This resource guide also includes recommended dosing for antivirals and other antiinfectives (“The Sanford Guide to Antimicrobial Therapy 2020,” 2020).
2) Another important tool used is the U.S. Preventative Services Prevention Taskforce
web page or app which allows a clinician to input pertinent patient demographics and other information and obtain a recommended list of screenings.
