Since the nuclear disaster that occurred at the Fukushima Daiichi plant in Japan on March 11, 2011, all nations that depend on nuclear power have been forced to reevaluate the potential risks they face from continued use of nuclear power. This Case Assignment considers how risks are defined, assessed and managed in light of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant disaster.
