2. Prepare a 3-5 sentence description of your capstone project idea. Be as specific as possible – knowing that this will evolve over the quarter.
3. Utilizing Sinek’s concepts of the “inside-out model for change”, develop a Golden Circle for your evidence-based project.
• Review your evidence-based project description. Think about how you will need to inspire others to participate in or contribute to your effort.
• Consider the following statements and reflect on the importance of each.
• “When we communicate from the outside in, people can understand vast amounts of information, but it doesn’t drive decision making.”
• “People don’t buy what you do; they buy WHY you do what you do.”
• Provide a 1-2 sentence explanation for each of the “why” – “how” – and “what” of your project.
• Complete your golden circle and label the “why” – “how” – and “what” with a 3-5 word descriptor that illustrates the essence of each.
