Choose from either of the following two scenarios to complete your assignment:
1. Create a plan of care to teach parenting skills that promote a child’s healthy self-perception. Focus on communication and discipline skills.
2. Identify altered role performance and body image problems in an adolescent female. Create a plan of care that addresses these issues and maximizes her developmental assets.

This is our last week of material and the second week of health education, promotion, and management. This week’s focus is on sexuality, values, beliefs and spirituality, role relationship, family functioning, self-perception, and most importantly, mental health issues in the pediatric population.
