Hi All,
I’ve personally found the soomo tasks to be moderately difficult to do. Literature isn’t my strong suit but in all honesty, the most challenging part has been adjusting to a fully online program. Taking an online course while also learning new technology has been quite a lengthy process. My options for courses were limited due to my full-time job and being a mother of three but I have since made it work. I have overcome these challenges by leaning on youtube videos and my husband for help navigating the computer and its many functions!

Hi Everyone,
Something I found challenging about this course at first was answering questions about the artwork. I’ve never really had a great taste for art so I knew this would be something I’d have to improve on. I found it difficult to analyze and then describe what I was seeing. I’ve been able to start overcoming this by gaining experience and using the six strategies for analyzing art. These include identifying, describing, analyzing, contextualizing, interpreting, and evaluating (Steineger, 2017, p. 1.2.2). Although this part has been challenging, this is something I wanted to improve on during this course so I’m glad that I’m starting to gain a better grasp on it.
