1;Identify one aspect of heart failure management relevant to the clinical practice that you preceive needs attention/development and is the focus of assignment.
2;Critically discuss why it is important for you to examine this area of practice.
3;Conduct a systematic search of the literature spanning the last 5 years, include seminal studies if appropriate and critically analyse the available research.
4;Synthesis your findings into a cohesive whole, provide a summary of the best available evidence, clearly identifying any voids in the literature and use these findings to support the development of the resource tool.
5;Design the resource tool, this may be in whatever format you consider best for disseminating the information and achieving your obbjectives, eg ward poster defining HFREF AND HFPEF.
6; The resource tool may be designed for use of quailified nursing staff, students etc.
7;Due to time limitations the resource tool will only be in draft form as an appendix
8;Give an overview of how the proposed resource tool will be implemented and evaluated, discuss any perceived obstacles that you anticipate may be encountered during implantation.
9; Include a timeframe for implementation and evaluation of the proposed resource tool and discuss the resources you will utilise in preparing the clinical area for the practice initiative, eg staff meeting.

The aim of the assignment is to devise a ward poster to enhance nurses knowledge and reinforce education on the new terminology used in heart failure , the ward poster will be used as my change initiative , and will define HFREF , heart failure with reduced ejection fraction, and HFPEF heart failure with preserved ejection fraction, as a educational tool. THE literature review will look at heart failure , new terminology hfref and hf pef, treatments , also based on the ECS guidelines 2012.In the lewins change theory, discuss the advantages and disadvantages of a ward poster.
