For this discussion you will be comparing and contrasting issues of the access, quality and cost of the health care systems of an industrialized nation to that of the U. S. using the following 6 questions to guide the discussion. Each student will have selected a different country to focus on (I got assigned to compare with Germany). You must include citations to this week’s readings and/or videos using APA 7th ed. and use one citation to your county that is in addition to the resources on the reading list.
Present a brief overview of key highlights of your country of focus for this discussion.
Describe the current status in relation to the government’s involvement as provider, financer, & regulator of health care. Also comment on the country’s insurance and payment mechanisms.
