From your experience as a nurse-
Stitch This” is an asynchronous writing activity that will develop and refine our thoughts and broaden our understanding of the course content.
The act of stitching is the creative process of combining a Question from a post with a Response you are creating, and then posing a new question (Stitch This) to give someone else the opportunity to advance discourse on any given topic (Question + Response + Stich This = Q=R+ST).
• You will create a response within at least two (2) different Threads of your choice
• Your response must be a written post (350 words minimum). You are invited to incorporate multimedia, images, and/or memes if you would like to jazz things up. Formal citations are not required.

1-Adaptive Leadership
STITCH THIS: According to Northouse (2022), "[c]onceptually, the process of adaptive leadership incorporates 4 biases: systems, biological, service orientation, and psychotherapy perspectives (Heifetz, 1994)" (p. 286). What does each of these four biases contribute to our understanding of adaptive leadership? How have each of these biases contributed to the development of your leadership and your ability to mobilize people to address change?

2-STITCH THIS: In what ways is path–goal theory useful for teaching patients and their family members or caregivers, or not? How would you assess the follower characteristics and task characteristics of your patients and their family members or caregivers (see Northouse, Figure 6.2, pg. 134)? What practical examples can you think of for how leaders can enhance their followers’ motivation if those followers are patients in their care, including the patient’s family members and caregivers?
Draw from course content and examples from your own experiences or observations to support your views.
