This assignment gives you an opportunity to get feedback on your philosophy of nursing, which is a required part of your EPortfolio. Some things you can consider in developing your ideas are:
What is a philosophy, what goes into it
What is it you see as true about nursing, about what is important
What are the ethical values you hold, which are most pertinent to nursing
What are your beliefs and values
What is most important to you
What theories do you consider or use
Read the Nursing Department Philosophy (see Course Documents)
What you actually write is informed by the above but it is ultimately a personal statement of YOUR OWN philosophy, not what a philosophy is.
REFERENCES – References are not required.
References are required only if you cite another?s work. For example if you say that you have been influenced by Watson or Rogers you would include a reference citation.
LENGTH – A Philosophy statement can be as short as one paragraph to as long as two pages. Typically it would be 1-3 paragraphs, about a page.
You will get feedback on both your content and your writing.

?Wit? Paper
Submit in SafeAssign
(5 points, 1 – 2 pages long)
Analysis and Personal Reflections of Wit ( the movie )
Your analysis of the movie, Wit, should include a descriptive analysis of one issue related to the healthcare team that you identified in the movie as important to the care of the patient. There are a few issues, so this is not a matter of identifying the only correct issue. You should also reflect upon the movie, express and possibly relate it to personal and/or professional experiences. (Writing about personal experiences is acceptable but not required.) Your analysis and reflection should show that you have seen the movie; your writing should not be superficial (express your opinions, avoid vague generalizations, be specific with examples).
References are not needed for this reflection paper.
