Welcome to Module 11 of Professional Aspects of Advanced Nursing Practice. During this lesson, we will review the ethical challenges that APNs face in daily practice and how the context-based model works. You will read selected content from your textbook, watch a video selected by your instructor, and participate in a discussion.
During this lesson, we will identify and examine the application of contemporary ethical theory in practice. You will consider the relevance of a rational, bioethical decision-making process.

2. Identify one unique population or country in which that contemporary ethical system is portrayed.
3. For your initial response, describe how you would interact with a patient from that culture or population. Identify difficulties that may arise during this interaction.
