Emily Michaels is the technology specialist who maintains the company conference rooms, communication tools, media systems, computer networks, and video conferencing systems. As project coordinator, you often work with Emily in this small and growing business. The owner of ViewPoint Partners, Sidney Simone, recently asked you to manage a new and exciting project: overseeing the installation of the five audiovisual (AV) presentation rooms. ViewPoint Partners needs to be able to conduct five focus groups simultaneously. Presentation rooms provide large screen displays, computers, DVRs, DVD players, and ports for laptop computers as well as other audiovisual devices. ViewPoint Partners currently employs several employees, including Emily and you. The budget for this project is $100,000. Sidney is eager to move to the larger space and she wants the AV presentation rooms fully functional in three months.
