CHD/Rationale for Health Promotion
An 8 page research paper that discusses the prevalence of coronary heart disease (CHD) in the US. CHD results in an average of 500,000 deaths per year in the US alone (Link and Tanner, 2001). The following examination of CHD looks at its prevalence and incidence from a demographically perspective; its causation and risk factors; and creates a health promotion rationale for nursing.
