Please read the Kaiser Family Foundation report “Focus on Health Care Disparities” along with chapter 8 from your text titled “Vulnerable Populations: A Tale of Two Nations”. Write a two page essay on how the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) that was passed in 2010 may impact health care disparities. Your essay should include an explanation of what is meant by health care disparities, some of the factors that contribute to health care disparities, some of the reasons why health care disparities persist, and some of the possible solutions to health care disparities as envisioned by the ACA. You are not expected to use any resources outside of the Kaiser report and your text.
