Guidelines:

Define the issue that you are addressing. Why is the issue you selected an important issue in healthcare? What is the history behind the issue? What are the key points of the issue for which Human Resources can provide a solution?

Identify stakeholders. For this assignment, assume that the employees in your Hospital, Health System or health care organization are represented by unions. Who do you need to achieve “buy-in” from and what is your approach to doing so?

What is your Strategic Human Resources vision to successfully tackle the issue? What are the obstacles that you anticipate and how will you overcome those obstacles?

Create a toolkit for your Hospital management that addresses the key points of the issue. What is the scope and purpose of your toolkit? What are the tools that you believe will be effective for managers to use in addressing the issue. Include all the tools in the appendix of your deliverable.
